It's happened more than once. A friend comes to visit NYC and doesn't understand and believe when I say I've never seen a Broadway show. Besides that, I'm always proud to say that I might know most of the other good attractions and hidden places that many tourists don't get to see when they come to the city. Truth is, I'm obviously sooooo wrong! For the second weekend in a row, I had the opportunity to visit an amazing place that I had no idea it was that beautiful.
My friend Karina and I barely have time to hang out due to our work schedules and it was late afternoon when we finally decided to go somewhere. Anywhere. I've heard about the Brooklyn Bridge Park and thought it would be a good idea, anyting that has the Brooklyn Bridge involved, I tend to love! It's one of my favorite places in NYC. And I will say that this afternoon was beyond my expectations.
So glad I had my friend and my camera with me. If you are ever in NYC, don't miss out on a great experience. As an incentive, the best NY pizza is located there! Number 1, Front Street! Enjoy :)

I've been to the opposite side of the bridge a couple times and I can't believe it took me 5 years to cross the bridge and visit the Brooklyn side! It's so nice. There are many food options and famous attractions for those who admire a good cousine. My favorite were obviously the ice Cream Factory and the NY's best pizza. I'm going back this week to finally try some. The lines were too long and we didn't wanna miss the sunset!
Result: We ended up having sushi in Astoria!
And below is one of my favorite moments! I know it can be pretty distracting for a photographer to take his/her clients outside for portraits and out of nowhere, tonz of cameras pop up, flashing light everywhere- total strangers trying to get a shot of the happy couple in NYC..! Sounds exciting!? Last night wasn't different. The energy the bridal party had, singing/screaming " beso, beso, besoo" was simply contagious! There were so many laughs, love and joy that I had to "remember" that forever -but I kept my distance. And no flash was used, of course :)
NY surprises me everyday! I'm in love with this city and there is no other place I'd rather be right now :) Thanks Karina for this lovely afternoon - great company, great views and great food! And thanks for the melon! You rock my friend!
And I'm planning on watching a Broadway show! It will happen!
